All classes for children, youth, women and adults have been developed by the Masters of the Capoeria and are taught by qualified instructors only. Prior to the commencement of each beginners course a free introductory workshop is conducted in which the course curriculum is outlined to the prospective new student, including parents.
The beginners Capoeira course is designed as a gentle introduction to Capoeira, accommodating various levels fitness and competencies. The subsequent courses are sequential building blocks which progress and assist the student to develop a range of physical skills and mental attributes. The Graduating student upon demonstrating particular competencies is graded and awarded a cord (belt in other martial art traditions) in recognition of their achievement and commitment.
